About This Experience
The world calls Colombian coffee the finest. Coffee lovers know why.
Shaped by volcanic soil, shifting clouds, and mountain air, coffee here is the language of the land itself. Beans handpicked by families who have tended these hills for generations. Their devotion turns the harvest into a ritual , and it tastes different.
Over three days, you step into Salento's vibrant streets before joining family-owned fincas where coffee is cultivated as both craft and ceremony. Alongside coffee, cacao , the ancient heart-opener , awaits you. On a working plantation, you discover its journey from pod to cup, and feel why it has long been cherished as the food of joy, warmth, and sensual vitality.

The Journey,
Day by Day
Day 1
Arrival, Salento & First Coffee Encounter
A private transfer meets you at Pereira airport. From there, you make your way to Salento , a coffee-producing town with an observatory viewpoint above the valley, full of atmosphere and local life. In the afternoon, you visit a traditional, family-owned coffee farm for a private tour and tasting. This is not an agricultural tourism stop; it is an initiation into Colombian coffee culture, led by the farmers themselves. The evening brings dinner at the hacienda, with the sounds of the countryside as your backdrop.
Day 2
Deep into the Finca , Coffee, Cacao & Craft
Breakfast is followed by a guided walking tour of Hacienda Bambusa's 180 hectares , a living farm cultivating fruits, small plantations, and cacao. Learn the process behind one of Colombia's most iconic products before continuing to a second private coffee farm. Here the coffee journey goes deeper: a family-owned facility maintaining the Colombian Federation's national standard of hand-picking every cherry individually. After walking the farm and crops, a private specialty coffee tasting experience awakens the senses and teaches you to identify and appreciate what you have been drinking. Lunch is taken locally. The day ends in the stillness of the hacienda.
Day 3
Farewell to the Coffee Region
Breakfast, then a private airport transfer back to Pereira. Late check-out is subject to availability and can be arranged at an additional cost. You leave with a different relationship to your morning cup , and to the people who make it possible.

“Colombia's coffee is famous for a reason. But tasting it here , at the source, with the families who grew it , is something that goes beyond flavor. It goes into memory.”
